Use the following steps to create a debug log for a FaxMan SDK Version 3.x install.

To create a FaxMan Debug Log for a single modem:

1. If the Faxman Server (fm3032.exe) is running, shut it down.
2. Go to Start - Run:
3. Type in: fm3032.exe /d <<enter>>
4. When the FaxMan Debug Interface appears, click the Command button that says "LogFile"
5. Give the file a name, and note where you are saving it to.
6. Allow FaxMan to Send/Receive until you feel the error has been duplicated.
7. Shut down the FaxMan Server and send the log file to support@data-tech.com

To create a Faxman Debug Log when running multiple modems:

1. If the Faxman Server (fm3032.exe) is running, shut it down.
2. Open the fm3032.ini file.  Add this section:

   [Debug]
   SingleSession=YES
   SplitPorts=YES
   MaxFileSize=100000

3. Save and close the fm3032.ini file.
4. Go to Start - Run: Type in: fm3032.exe /d <<enter>>
5. When the FaxMan Debug Interface appears, simply minimize this dialog.  Do not close this dialog.
6. Allow FaxMan to Send/Receive until you feel the error has been duplicated.
7. Close the faxman server.
8.  Look in the System directory (or the directory where the fm3032.exe was running.)  You will find numerous new log files like port0.log, port1.log, port2.log, etc...up to port66.log.
9. Locate the log(s) for the port(s) FaxMan was sending/receiving over and email those files to us at support@data-tech.com.
