is imageman activex certified to work with visual studio 2010?

Gerald Meachem Aug 28, 2013 06:17PM EDT

We have been using a previous version of imageman within Openedge ABL. A recent release of Openedge (11.2) indicates that to avoid any problems, ocx controls used must be certified to work with Visual Studio 2010 and the Microsoft DEP. Does the current version of imageman meet this requirement?
While I managed to get it working with Openedge 11.2 under Server 2003, I can't seem to get it working with newer operating systems (32 bit or otherwise). I've tried server 2008(32 bit and 64 bit), and windows 7 64 bit. Thanks!

Hello,

We don't really certify the ActiveX controls to work with Visual Studio 2010/2012/2013 per se. There are no known issues with newer OS builds so I would make sure you have the latest ImageMan build which you can download from the My Products page on our website at http://www.data-tech.com/myproducts.aspx.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Sean
