ImageMan .NET Twain

Sunita Jadhav Jul 12, 2011 12:07PM EDT

I am looking for client side .NET COM to support TWAIN drivers on both 32-bit & 64-bit systems. The component should work in both, IE 32-bit & 64-bit browsers.

Does DTI.ImageMan.Twain have these features?
Is it web-deployable [via CAB] & a registrable component?

Thanks,
Sunita.

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our ImageMan.Net Twain components.

Sorry at this time we do not expose a COM interface from our .Net Twain component.

Thanks and let us know if you have any other questions,
Sean

Hello,
The ImageMan ActiveX twain control supports only 32 bit platforms at this time and is deployable via a CAB file.

Our ImageMan.Net Twain components does include 32 & 64 bit support.

Thanks,
Sean

Hello Sean,

Thanks for replying promptly.

If I understand correctly, ImageMan.Net Twain is a 32-bit module. So is it possible to scan documents using 64bit Twain drivers from "IE 64-Bit" ?

Sunita.

Hello,

To run in IE 64 bit you will need a 64 bit ActiveX control, the 32 bit control will only work in IE 32 bits.

Thanks,
Sean

So do you have any such 64-bit ActiveX control ?
