Hi,

I've four USB modem (multitech MT9234ZBA) connected to my computer and they are all recognized.
The question is : when I send fax by code (c#) does faxman SDK automaticly use the not-used modems ? or I've to set manually wich modem to use to send fax ?

Thank you
Excuse me for my bad english

Hello,

FaxMan will automatically select an available modem to send the fax unless you have specified a specific modem when you scheduled the fax. We suggest you let FaxMan pick the modem so it will be most efficient . You can of course configure the modems as send, receive, send & Receive or neiher.

This gives me a clue as to why only one of our fax lines is being used. We may be explicitly using only one modem. What is the command/argument/method that tells FaxMan to use a specific modem?

Hi,

It depends on which interface you are using.

.Net - Its the Fax object's .Port property
ActiveX - Its the FaxPort property
DLL - Its the nReqPort field of Send_Fax

Also note that FaxMan will only send to a given fax number using 1 line at a time. So if you schedule a bunch of faxes to a given # it will only use one line to send them. If you had difference fax #s then it should use all the lines condfigured for sending.
