How to use ImageMan.Net Viewer as a part of an COM Interop Control under .NET 4.0

Christian Meyer Aug 09, 2011 07:07AM EDT

Hello,

our company uses the ImageMan.Net Viewer as a part of an own windows forms control. We have the limitation to activate the COM interop support.

When we build our control with Visual Studio 2008 (Switches: Any CPU/.NET 3.5 framework) on a Windows XP system everything works fine.

Now we use Visual Studio 2010 running on a Windows 7 64 bit system and the compilation of the project failed and returns the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'DTI.ImageMan.Codecs.dll' or one of its dependencies.

We download the newest version of ImageMan v2.11 and add the Legacy Support Tag in the app.config startup section.
Change the compilation plattform, cpu, farmework and so on but nothing helps.

The interesting point is the COM interop flag.
When we uncheck this project flag we can build our project.

Do you have a solution for our problem?
