Trouble with Duplex Scanning

Hemal Desai Apr 05, 2012 08:53PM EDT

I have a scanner that supports duplex scanning and I'm attempting to scan both sides of a page. Before I scan the page, I set the following properties:

Twain.UseDuplex = True
Twain.Duplex = SinglePass

Even after setting these properties I can only get the scanner to get 1 side of the page on the image. I am saving the file as a TIF file. I've also tried setting the "Duplex" property to "DoublePass", but I get the same result.

I know there's something I must be missing here. Is there another property I need to set prior to the scan? Or perhaps I need to do something special after the scan to ensure that both sides of the image are saved? Any help would be appreciated.

And in case it matters, the scanner I'm using is a Fujitsi fi-5110C.

Can you send us a Twain debug log of scanning ?

To generate one you need to call the InitializeLogging("logfilename.log") method on the twain control after you create it but before you set other properties etc. Then scan and email us the log.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

I have a few log files created. What email address should I send these files to?
