Error loading Imageman.Codecs.dll

Reagan Goodson May 06, 2012 10:30PM EDT

Hello,

I have upgraded my application to visual studio 2010 and now I am receiving the following error when trying to compile my application:

"Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/ImageMan.Net V2/DTI.ImageMan.Codecs.dll' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."

My target CPU is x86 and my target framework is 3.5.

Any idea what the problem is?

Thank you,
Reagan

Hi Reagan,

As long as your target cpu is set to x86, then the issue is likely that the C runtime DLLs that the codecs assy relies on are missing.

The Version 2.x Codecs relies on msvcr80.dll and msvcp80.dll. If you need those files drop us an email at support@data-tech.com and we'll be glad to email them to you.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Sean

Sean,

I'm sending you an email with an attached test project that demonstrates the problem.
