Good day! I have 7 million TIF images that I need to sort by DPI. What is the fastest way to do this? I thought the ImageInfo class would contain the DPI but doesn't appear to. Seeing the large number of images to sort through it needs to be fast and efficient. I need to avoid loading the whole TIF into memory so using a .NET Bitmap object is out.
If you could share the best way to do this in ImageMan.Net it would be much appreciated.
Actually we have added the resolution information to the ImageInfo object in our Spring ImageMan.Net release. It will be available in beta very shortly.
By using the ImageInfo approach you wont have to load and decompress the entire tiff page data, it just loads the header information.
Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like I'll need to look for another solution as I need production ready for within the week.
We can get you a copy of the beta next Monday if that would help.
Yes please, I'm like to have the beta is hand to test this functionality.
I'll try to get this code to you on Tuesday.
Please confirm your email address so I can send you the link to the beta build.
