Multitech MT5656ZDX Fails to initialize

Jeff List Sep 06, 2012 09:42AM EDT

When using FaxMan 4.46 to fax with an MT5656ZDX on COM1, Faxman timing out on reset command.

Can configure and dial out from modem via Putty

Same code with Perle, IQ-Express, and other MT5656ZDX modems work fine.

Hi,

The reset string is incorrect. Generally it should be ATZ, note there is no & in the reset string, yours has a & which is not valid.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Sean
