Set the Document Name for a Print Job and images not printing on some printers

Chad Newman Mar 20, 2014 03:38PM EDT

Is there a way to set the Document Name when printing?
Using Image Man ActiveX 7.3 and trying to print an image using:

Image man methods:

Print Start with True
Print image
Print Next Page
Print end doc

With some printers I'm seeing "No Document Name" when reviewing the printer and they print images fine. When a printer has the Document Name blank it seems to go through the spool process but never actually prints.

Thanks,

Chad

Hello Chad,
There isnt a way to set the Document Name in the ActiveX control when using the Print* methods. If you are using VB6 then you can use its Print* methods which should allow you to set the Document Name and then use ImageMan to print to that Device Context (DC).

Sorry, as Version 7.,xx is rather dated we will not be adding any new features to that release.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Sean
