Setting resolution when converting from PDF to TIF

Charley Hannon May 05, 2014 04:11PM EDT

I'm doing an evaluation of ImageMan to convert from PDF to TIF

I want to set the TIF resolution to 200 dpi

I'm using
ImgXOptBlkAdd(hOptBlk, "TIFF_XRES", "200", OPTBLK_INT32, NULL);
the resolution isn't being set. Is the last parameter wrong?

Thanks for your interest in our ImageMan DLL Suite library.

When importing PDF files using the ImgOpenSolo() api function the default resolution is 200 dpi, if you want to change that you can use the ImgOpenSoloEx() method which includes the nResolution paramteer which allows you to specify a different resolution.

HANDLE IMAPI ImgOpenSoloEx ( lpFilename, lpExt, nBitdepth, nResolution, lpPassword)

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.
