Hi,

Can you post the exact text of what you are seeing or a screenshot ? Is this a message from IE or from an antivirus or anti malware application ?

Thanks,
John

IE is stopped, the error message is indicated by Windows 7 - (Internet Explorer has stopped working) is the DEP data (Data Execution Prevention) which closes Internet Explorer - How disable it? cordially

not from antvirus, not from antimalware !

Hello,
Thanks for the additional information. You can disable DEP on Vista and the control will run. Here's an article on doing so: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/120778-dep-enable-disable.html

Having disable DEP now, IE stops without indicating the problem. For information, my application works with firefox 3.6 and IE tab.
Do you have a solution? version IE 8.0.6

thanks,

Hello,

What version exactly of ImageMan ActiveX are you using ?

There aren't any known issues with IE V 8.

Thanks,
John

Hello,

I'm able to run our latest 8.74 code in a copy of IE 8.0.6001.19019 on a Vista x86 SP1 machine. I just ran our clientside example which is part of our installer.

I would suggest you start by getting the latest ImageMan ActiveX installer from the My Products page on our website and see if you can that sample on the machine in question.

John
