There are times when I need to change the priority of a fax. You have answered a questiuon previously about that. While I am cancelling and changing the priority of the fax I would like the FaxMan Fax Server to finish sending the fax it is working on then pause until I tell it to continue.

I want to pause the FaxMan server by clicking a button. That is simple enough but what happens to the faxes that is already being sent? Does it finish the fax it is currently sending or does it abruply stop causing an error on the fax you are transmitting? What happens to the rest of the faxes in the queue? Does it just hold onto them until the fax server is turned back on?

What would I need to do to "unpause" or "turn back on" the Faxman fax server?

Hello Donald,

You can use the "ServerStatus" Server Option to pause the server. Set the "ServerStatus" to "paused" to pause the server, it will continue sending any in process faxes, then it will pause.

To enable the server set it to "Running".

Let me know if you have any questions,

John
