System.Exception: no hDIBSection

Seismo Malm Aug 14, 2014 04:50AM EDT

Viewer causes occasionally this exception when loading images:
System.Exception: no hDIBSection

The weird part is that the code is following and it isn't the first line that causes exception:
this.viewer1.Load(frmMainForm.sTemporaryFilesDirectory+"temp.tif");
this.viewer2.Load(frmMainForm.sTemporaryFilesDirectory+"temp.tif");
this.viewer4.Load(frmMainForm.sTemporaryFilesDirectory+"temp.tif");

We are using version 3.03.

It seems that our support agreement for ImageMan.Net Document Edition and ImageMan.Net TWAIN has expired, how we can renew it?

Hello,

The noHDIBSection exception is a poorly named exception that indicates a failure to allocate memory for the image. So basically we were unable to allocate the unmanaged memory for the image. If this is a 32 bit app building it as a 64 bit app may help since 64 bit apps can have access to more memory and the 64 bit memory manager is better.

You can renew your ImageMan.Net subscription from the My Products page on our website at http://www.data-tech.com/myproducts.aspx.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.
