Reflection of selected thumbnail in thumbnail viewer

Bruce Lum (Contact Innovations Inc.) Aug 22, 2014 10:30AM EDT

I'm using the ImageMan.NET viewer and thumbnail viewer, along with a set of navigation buttons (first, previous, next, last). If the user clicks a button that selects a thumbnail that ends up outside of the viewer, the thumbnail viewer does not automatically scroll to show the selection.

The general question is: given an index into the ImageCollection (used to set the Selected property of the thumbnail control), how can show the selection in the thumbnail control? And can I programmatically control where the selected thumbnail is positioned within the viewer area?

Thanks.

Hi Bruce,

With current versions of the ImageMan.Net control you can use the ThumbnailViewer ScrollToThumb(idx) method to scroll the specified thumbnail into view.
