reda saouri Apr 08, 2013 06:37AM EDT

Hi

often when I send a multi-page document faxman SDK consider the fax failed even when successful, why? it's a real problem for me...

I use "multimodem ZBA" to send and I use this in faxman4.ini : Init=AT&FE0V1&C1&D2&K3S0=0

Thank you for you answer

Hello,

FaxMan will make a fax as failed when it doesnt receive confirmation from the recipient that its been received successfully per the fax protocol. Sometimes a page may be sent OK but the confirmation message is lost or corrupted so Faxman has no way to know if the page was received successfully.

Make sure you are running your Multitech modem using Class 2.1 as that has Error Correcting Mode supported which may help with this issue and certainly with Fax quality overall.

See our kbase article at http://help.data-tech.com/customer/portal/articles/161763-optimum-settings-for-multitech-perle-pci-ras-and-mainpine-iq-express-modems for information on configuring the Class 2.1 support.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Sean
