How to stop the following error - And why it is appearing some times (NOT ALWAYS).

Hello,

What version are you using exactly ? The latest release is V 8.80 which you can download from the My Products page on our website at http://www.data-tech.com/myproducts.aspx.

Let me know if you still have an issue with that build and what you are doing in your code when we get the error.

Many thanks for your reply.

I am using ver 8.78 with VB6 Win 7 image format tiff compresses

I have just downloaded ver 8.80 and I will test it

I made many experiments, the progblem appears if the path of the image file includes Arabic words. e.g.:-

C:\Test\القيود\imagefile.tif

I hope the new ver 8.80 overcome this problem.

Hello,

OK, that may be it, the ImageMan ActiveX controls are ANSI compiled not Unicode and may have issues with some non ANSI character sets.
