We are using FAXMAN4.6.2.1 Active X with VB6 on XP.

Last few days, We come across two time of FAXMAN's event not been fired. Yesterday, our application is up and running since from morning, and it was sent and received faxes until 9/4/2013 17:28:44. It was the last activity reported from FAXMAN.

This morning when we checked the system, we found that the modem status did not response when we changed the FaxMan1.DeviceSend Property. Usually, it will show "waiting for call" or "Port Closed" when we change the property. Also we tested the modem was working, actually, it was received some faxes but did not fired the FaxMan1_FaxStatus and FaxMan1_Received events.

Please check what had happened and how could we avoid the problem happen again, the attached files is for your reference.

Hello,

Please send us the FaxMan*.log file for the day when this occurred. It sounds like the client is being removed from the server's notification list, this can occur when the client doesnt respond to the server for a given period of time. If your app has a tight loop that doesnt yield this can cause a problem like this.

Thanks,
Sean

Hello,

Sorry I do not see the FaxMan*.log file from you, only this recent email. If the file is large you may need to zip it.

Thanks for your interest in our products and please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Sean
